SAMPLE ITINERARY - SHAKESPEARE’S HISTORY PLAYS - PART 2
Monday, 3 March: Flights to UK
Tuesday, 4 March: Arrive London and transfer to your hotel. Rest and relax
Wednesday, 5 March: To Bankside for a visit to Southwark Cathedral and then a guided walk through the narrow streets to see where the original Rose Theatre was located prior to a private tour of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and Exhibition. Balance of the day at leisure. Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre is “the beating heart of theatrical London” dedicated to exploring Shakespeare’s work through performance and education. The theatre faithfully reconstructs the open-air playhouse designed in 1599, where Shakespeare worked and for which he wrote many of his greatest plays.
Thursday, 6 March: Depart London for Stratford and visits to the Shakespeare Houses before checking into the hotel. The Shakespeare Histories begins with Henry VI Part 1 at 7:30pm.
Friday, 7 March: Today’s productions are Henry VI Part 2 at 10:30am, Henry VI part 3 at 3:00pm and Richard III at 7:30pm.
Saturday, 8 March: At 10:30am Richard II, followed by Henry IV Part 1 at 3:00pm, finishing with Henry IV Part 2 at 7:30pm.
Sunday, 9 March: After a late morning brunch, Henry V at 3:00pm.
Monday, 10 March: Depart Stratford for London and an afternoon and evening at leisure.
Tuesday, 11 March: Transfer to the airport for the return flight home.
